As a business leader, ranch steward, and longtime community advocate, Macey understands the importance of protecting our way of life while creating opportunities for future generations.

Meet Macey Moore

Macey Moore brings a unique combination of professional expertise, local experience, and lifelong commitment to Wyoming values.

After graduating from the University of Wyoming, Macey began her career in corporate finance with Accenture in Denver, where she managed budgets and large-scale projects. In 2004, she and her husband Keith returned to Converse County to help operate the family ranch, building their life and raising their family in Douglas and the surrounding community.

Her experience extends beyond finance and ranching. Macey later became the owner and broker of RE/MAX in Douglas, helping families and businesses invest in the future of the community. In 2014, she purchased the historic Hotel LaBonte, continuing her commitment to preserving local heritage while supporting economic growth.

Keith and Macey raised their three children in Converse County and understand firsthand what makes rural Wyoming such a special place to call home.

Proven Qualifications and Leadership

Macey’s background has prepared her to make informed, responsible decisions for Converse County.

Her qualifications include:

  • Corporate finance and budget management experience
  • Real estate leadership and small business ownership
  • Ranch management and land stewardship
  • Tourism and local economic development experience
  • State and local board leadership
  • 8 years of service as a University of Wyoming Trustee

During her time as a UW Trustee, Macey chaired the Fiscal and Legal Affairs Committee and served on the Student and Academic Affairs Committee, giving her extensive experience working within complex budgets, long-term planning, and public governance.

This combination of financial expertise, business ownership, and public service gives Macey the practical leadership skills needed to serve as County Commissioner.

She is committed to supporting economic opportunity while protecting the culture, infrastructure, and values that define Wyoming life.

Her community involvement includes work with:

Her leadership has always been rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to the people of Converse County.
